My contract has ended but I've been informed that repatriation is not possible currently due to port restrictions. Is my contract extended until I am repatriated?

To curb the spread of the corona virus and avoid the risk of infecting seafaring colleagues, we have temporarily suspended crew changes. This would result in we having to extend the contracts of the crew due to be relived during this period. 

The crewing team will be in contact with you to arrange for your contract to be extended in alignment with the flag/nationality /CBA requirements.
