retainsShipMoney has a number of security measures employed including transaction notifications and OTP (one-time passwords). If a card was compromised through fraud or cloning, the card member has full VISA chargeback rights which allow the crew member to contest charges and if fraud is found, the crew will not be held responsible for any unauthorized charges made with their account. The only liability the crew retain is if the crew gives away their details to access their account such as their passwords or PINS. However, this is the same policy that the crew has for their domestic accounts.
