Currently – All types of payments can be remitted to ShipMoney if the seafarers choose to opt in.
Note: For Filipino seafarers, as mandated by DMW, the fixed allotment (80% of basic wage plus fixed or guaranteed overtime) will still be sent to the nominated bank account in the Philippines. All payments in excess of the mandated 80% threshold, including special allotments or Master Payment Order (MPO), will be accommodated and credited to ShipMoney.
