If Seafarer have forgotten ShipMoney security questions

Seafarer must submit a support ticket to receive a temporary One-Time Password (OTP) that allows Seafarer to access your account and update them.
 

Step 1: Submit a Reset Request
 

  1. Open the App: Launch the ShipMoney app or website.
  2. Access Help: Tap the Need some help? button and select Online Help.
  3. Request Reset: Select Reset security question (I forgot my security question).
  4. Provide Details: Enter your 10-digit Customer ID, the last 4 digits of your card, your full name, and your email address.
  5. Explain & Submit: Write a brief note stating Seafarer forgot your security questions and need a reset, then tap Submit Ticket.
     

Step 2: Verification
 

  1. Confirmation Email: Look for a confirmation email from ShipMoney.
  2. Provide Info: Reply with any details they request to verify your identity.
    • Note: If Seafarer have trouble providing these details, contact your representative at angelo.alejandro@vships.com to assist with verification.
  3. Receive OTP: Once verified, the Operations team will send a One-Time Password (OTP) via text or email. This code is only valid for 8 hours.


 Step 3: Update Your Questions
 

  1. Login: Go to ShipMoney.com or open the app and enter your Username and Password.
  2. Enter Code: Click the link that says "If Customer Service sent Seafarer a code, Click Here."
  3. Identity Check: Enter your Customer ID and the OTP Seafarer received.
  4. Set New Questions: Seafarer will be logged in and prompted to choose and answer new security questions immediately.
     

Important: Seafarer must complete the update of your security questions/answers during this login. If Seafarer do not, Seafarer will be logged out and will need to request a brand-new OTP.
